Lessons from Harry Potter for These Tumultuous and Transitional Times: Lesson 1

Lesson 1:

Non-magical people (those who don’t understand or have practical experience of or who don’t practice spirituality/metaphysics) are most comfortable residing in the State of Status Quo. Anything not status quo is judged as either nonsense or dangerous or requiring mental health intervention.

Status quo types are not prone to “live and let live.” They observe others in order to criticize them as though there is nothing about themselves that others might criticize, or they make criticizing others an “art” form. They consider those who are not like them to be lesser beings. They admire, in a worshiping kind of way, those who have more materially than they do and feel anyone who thinks there’s more to life than status and assets is balmy…maybe even irresponsible. They believe status and assets are the only paths to personal power.

There are people who are obviously programmed—those who the remarkable Stuart Wilde, now departed from the Earth dimension, called Tick-Tock. And then there are those he called the Fringe Dwellers. If you’re reading this, you fit into the latter category. You know there is a mystery of and in the Universe, and you participate in exploring and discovering more about this and your part in it. You may get confused at times, but you have moments when you are clear that you have a foot in both worlds.

You know there’s something off with the world. You know there’s more to you and to everything than what appearances imply. You question with right questions, rather than rely on others to tell you what to believe or accept as real or true. We all carry the Infinite Love and Light within us, but Fringe Dwellers strive to embrace it and employ it in their experiences and how they express themselves.
